Rex Briggs, MSW has devoted his practice to giving hope to people suffering with anxiety and stress-related conditions for 30 years following his own treatment and recovery from anxiety and depression.      

Rex has been a national speaker since 1986 and his book, Transforming Anxiety Transcending Shame, was published by the Chicken Soup Publishers in 1999. His book propelled him into TV appearances on the Sally Jessy Raphael program and KOMO’s Northwest Afternoon’s program out of Seattle, as well as innumerable nationally syndicated radio programs.

Rex has crisscrossed the nation and globe teaching professionals and lay people ways of better recognizing, managing, and eliminating unnecessary anxiety from their life, moving from lives filled with discomfort and fear to lives of confidence and empowerment.
